Problems we fix every week
- White screen or HTTP 500 after an update, a PHP change or a host move.
- A failed or half-finished upgrade. The control panel won't load, or the updater stopped part-way.
- Add-on fatal errors that take down every page using a template.
- Database errors after a MySQL upgrade, often strict mode against old add-ons.
- Hacked sites: redirects, spam pages or defaced content.
Our upgrade errors guide covers the first checks you can do yourself.
What to send us
Speed comes from access. When you contact us, include:
- The site URL and what happened just before it broke.
- Control-panel login (a temporary super admin account is best).
- FTP/SFTP or hosting control-panel access, and database access if you have it.
- Whether a backup exists, and when it was taken.
If you're not sure what you have, send what you can. We'll work with your host if needed.
